About Shrey
Shrey Bhardwaj is a tabla educator, performer, and researcher from Delhi, India, with extensive experience in both teaching and performance. He previously worked as a music teacher in Dubai, where he taught students from diverse cultural and musical backgrounds, helping them develop rhythmic skills, musical confidence, and creative expression. Rooted in the tradition of Hindustani classical music, Shrey is passionate about making rhythm accessible and engaging for learners of all levels. His teaching combines traditional tabla training with a strong emphasis on listening, collaboration, and musical understanding. In addition to his teaching and performance work across India, he has participated in international cultural exchange programs, including in Uganda, collaborating with musicians and students from around the world. Shrey is currently pursuing doctoral research on the acoustics and construction of the tabla, bringing both scholarly insight and practical experience to his work as an educator and musician.
