Kelvin Uche James is an award-winning professional bass guitarist, multi-instrumentalist, music educator, songwriter, music arranger, and composer based in Abuja, Federal Capital Territory, Nigeria. His musical journey began with the drums before he transitioned to the bass guitar in 2005. Since then, he has dedicated his life to mastering the instrument while building a successful career as a performer, educator, arranger, composer, and mentor. In addition to the bass guitar, he also plays the guitar, drums, and piano, giving him a well-rounded understanding of music that enriches his teaching. For over 11 years, he has been teaching bass guitar to students of all ages and experience levels, from complete beginners to advanced players.
