Welcome to World Groove Society. By accessing this website or booking lessons through our platform, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. What World Groove Society Is
World Groove Society provides a platform that connects students with independent music teachers. Teachers set their own rates and provide lessons directly to students. World Groove Society supports this process through marketing, sales, scheduling, and platform services.
2. Lesson Payments and Refunds
All lesson purchases are final and non-refundable once booked. This includes missed lessons, unused lessons, or changes in availability.
3. Scheduling and Rescheduling
Students must notify the teacher at least seven (7) days in advance to request a reschedule. All rescheduling requests are subject to the teacher’s availability and individual policies.
World Groove Society does not guarantee that a reschedule or makeup lesson will be offered.
4. Missed Lessons
Missed lessons without sufficient notice are not the responsibility of World Groove Society. Any decision to offer a makeup lesson is entirely at the discretion of the teacher.
5. Teachers and Responsibility
Lessons are provided by independent teachers who work with World Groove Society through the platform and set their own rates.
World Groove Society is not responsible for:
- The delivery or quality of lessons
- Scheduling decisions made by teachers
- Teacher–student communications
- Missed, canceled, or rescheduled lessons
Any lesson-related concerns should be resolved directly between the student and the teacher.
6. Platform Use and Limitations
World Groove Society provides the platform “as is.” We do not guarantee specific outcomes, progress, or results from lessons.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, World Groove Society shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the website or services.
7. Respectful Use
Users are expected to interact respectfully. Harassment, abuse, or misuse of the platform may result in removal from the platform without refund.
8. Updates to These Terms
These Terms of Service may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the website indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
