What the workshop covers
Ninety minutes of authentic samba, choro, rhythm and groove with a Brazilian musician who plays it natively. The focus is the swing itself - the timing and pocket that make the music sound Brazilian rather than merely correct - and it is taught so that you can carry it to any instrument.
Who it is for
All levels. You do not need to play percussion, and you do not need to read music: the feel is taught by speaking and singing the rhythm before playing it, which is how the tradition teaches it.
