There is a point in learning a tradition where general instruction stops being enough and you need the person who actually carries it. The teachers here are players from inside the traditions they teach - Brazilian, West African, South Indian, Turkish and Balkan among them. What you get in a lesson is not a summary of a tradition, it is the thing itself.
Built around you, not a syllabus
A private lesson goes where you need it: the piece you are stuck on, the feel you cannot quite land, the technique that has been quietly limiting you for years. That is the case for one-to-one over a course - a course cannot hear you play.

Lessons happen live in the browser, so distance stops deciding who you are allowed to study with. A player in one country can study weekly with a master in another without either of them getting on a plane.
