Every course here starts from rhythm and works outward. That is the opposite of how most online music courses are built, and it is the reason players who can already read often arrive anyway - reading a samba and feeling one are different skills, and only one of them makes the music sound right.

Do I need to read music to take a course?
No. These courses teach rhythm first, largely by speaking and singing it before playing it, so notation is not the entry requirement.
